What are the dates and times?
Siamsa na Nollag runs from the 1st to 23rd Dec 2023. Various time slots are available. Please visit www.siamsatire.com/events for more information and to book.
How much are tickets?
Tickets are priced at Child €18, Adult €10, Family (4) €50 (5) €60. Children under 2 years are free. Tickets are only valid for the chosen date and time of the booking only.
Children under 2yrs are free of charge but do they still receive a gift? Yes all children will receive a gift bag.
How many people can attend per booking? One family group per time slot to allow ample time with Santa.
Can I purchase tickets on the day?
If there is still availability, you may purchase tickets on the day of your visit at www.siamsatire.com/events however, we expect tickets to sell out fast, therefore advanced booking is highly recommended.
If the time I want is booked out is there a waiting list I can be placed on?
Yes, please contact Box Office to be placed on a waiting list, however, we cannot guarantee that a space will become available.
What age is this suitable for?
Siamsa na Nollag is suitable for small kids and big kids of all ages!
Is this suitable for visitors with sensory issues?
Everyone is welcome to attend Siamsa na Nollag. Dedicated sensory hours for families with sensitivities to sound and lights will be provided on Sat 9th, Sun 10th, Sat 16th, Sun 17th, Mon 18th – Fri 22nd. Contact our Box Office for more information and to book.
What happens if I can’t make it to the booking time or want to cancel?

Do I need outdoor clothing and footwear?
Siamsa na Nollag is mainly indoors but you will briefly be outside in our courtyard so dress accordingly and festive clothing is highly encouraged!
When should I arrive at Siamsa Tíre?
The time on your ticket is the allocated time, we are asking all of our guests to arrive in plenty of time before your time slot so that you can soak up the festive atmosphere and ensure the smooth running of the scheduled slots.
Do I need to bring a printed ticket?
Did you know, Siamsa Tíre is Ireland’s first Green Certified Theatre? As part of our greening policy, we encourage you to simply show the e-mail of your booking when you arrive but you can bring a printed copy if this is your preference.
Is there car parking available?
Yes, there is ample paid car parking available in the adjacent public carparks.
How long does the visit take?
We recommend you allow at least 20mins for your visit. Each visit with Santa takes approx. 10 mins per time slot – you can then enjoy the rest of our facilities and Christmas treats around your visit.
What exactly does my ticket entitle me to?
Your Siamsa na Nollag experience includes:
Experience Irish Christmas traditions guided by Santa’s Little Helper
Private visit with Daidí na Nollag (Santa)
A photo opportunity with Daidí na Nollag and his Siamsa Elf helpers (Bring along your camera/phone and we can help you get your annual family photo with Santa)
Gift bag per child – Robin craft kit, colouring pencils, Christmas card frame for children to colour in, festive treats and Santa’s Helper Certificate
Can we stay longer after our visit is finished?
Yes of course! Our festive lobby and snack bar will be open and you are more than welcome to stay longer. Christmas treats and hot and cold drinks will be available to purchase in our lobby bar as part of your visit. You can also do some Christmas shopping in our lobby where you can purchase Siamsa Tíre tickets, merchandise and gift vouchers.
What about bad weather?
We will be guided by government weather warnings and will make contact with all customers the day before to give notice of any changes to our schedule.
Is the event wheelchair and pram-friendly?
Yes, Siamsa Tíre is suitable for most prams and wheelchairs and we have a space in which they can be stored if required.
Is there accommodation nearby?
Yes, there are many hotels and accommodation providers in Tralee.
Can we take pictures?
Yes, of course! Bring along your camera/phone and we can help you get your annual family photo with Santa.
Are there other family activities to enjoy nearby?
Lots! Christmas in Tralee is a magical time and Siamsa Tíre is right in the heart of the town. We are adjacent to the town park and playground, Museum, Aqua Dome, Wetlands, Cinema, an abundance of shops and more!
