Following successful collaborations with Siamsa Tíre Tralee for the Kerry Mental Health & Wellbeing Fest 2023 and a 10-week Chakradance course from January – March 2024, we’ll be returning to the Rehearsal Room in Siamsa Tíre for a weekend retreat of Chakradance in October 2024.
If you find it difficult being still to meditate or find it difficult to quiet your mind, then Chakradance might be just what you’re looking for.
This course is for you if you want an opportunity to explore your inner world through movement, music, and mandalas in a safe and sacred space. Using the chakras as our roadmap, we will gently dive into different aspects of ourselves to uncover and release what no longer serves us and to reconnect to our authentic selves.
Whether you want to move to great music in a safe environment, or do some deep inner work, Chakradance will allow you a safe and sacred environment to do just that.
If you don’t have time to commit to 10 weeks and would like to experience the benefits of a full Chakradance course, including integration, over one weekend, then this is for you.
About Elaine
Elaine Clancy is a licenced Chakradance™ facilitator, accredited QTT® Coaching Practitioner, Shamanic Practitioner, Shamanic Counsellor. Sound Therapy Practitioner, & Seabhean Practitioner Teacher.
She is a full member of the International Institute of Complimentary Therapists (IICT) and the Association of Independent Therapists and Practitioners.
Event Details:
- Venue: Siamsa Tíre, Tralee. The Rehearsal Room is an ideal venue for Chakradance and adds it’s own special ‘draíocht’ or ‘magical enchantment’ to the retreat.
- Dates/Times: There will be time for reflection and comfort breaks throughout the weekend as well as breaks for lunch on Saturday & Sunday. A full schedule will be available on booking.
- Friday 18th October 2024: 7 pm – 8:30pm
- Saturday 19th October 2024: 10am – 7pm
- Sunday 20th October 2024: 10am – 5pm
- Cost: €240 for the weekend, you can pay in full or pay a deposit of €100 to reserve your place, the balance will be due by September 1st 2024. The cost, includes Chakradance facilitation, all art materials, handouts/E-Book, Shamanic Fire Ceremony, Guided Shamanic Journey.

What to Bring: These are relaxing movement workshops so it’s advisable to wear loose and comfortable clothes. We take our shoes off to dance so you may wish to bring slipper socks, so that you don’t slip or to keep your feet warm if you don’t want to go barefoot. It’s good to bring a drink of water with you too. If you have a yoga mat and blanket, please bring them for the meditations each day. We close our eyes, or lower our gaze to dance. Some people like to wear an eye mask, so feel free to bring one, or a scarf to cover your eyes if you wish. The most important thing is that you feel comfortable. All art materials will be supplied including a folder for all your mandalas. Siamsa Tíre is surrounded by the town park that covers 35 acres and comprises manicured gardens, walkways (5km in total), a wide array of tree species, a fountain, and a community garden, with plenty of room to connect with nature, and for quiet reflection and integration between sessions.
