With the first run of Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat at a close, audiences around Kerry have been left buzzing and itching for more. The cast of our summer musical lit up the stage for an unforgettable three-day run. Truly, each night was a testament to the cast and crew’s extraordinary talent and dedication, with each show earning a standing ovation from the audience.

Just a few comments from the audience as they exited the theatre after the second show last Thursday. The vibrant energy, flawless choreography, and powerful vocals created an electric atmosphere that resonated with everyone in attendance, as audience member after audience member came forward to express how impressed they were at the show as a whole, from the vocals to the choreography, to the professionalism of everyone on stage.

For many performers, the buzz of the show is backstage, in the preparation and craic that’s only seen by those involved in the production, but beyond that, there is always a hope that the audience will see even a glimpse of the hard work and love that goes into a show like this. As rewarding as it feels to progress from the rehearsal space to the real performance, an engaged audience is truly the ultimate cherry on top for any performer, and for that to be the case across three consecutive shows is exceptional, and something for this wonderful cast to be extremely proud of.

The response to this run of Joseph has only made both our cast and audience eager for more, and we’re delighted that we get to accommodate this wonderful experience all over again for the second run from the 23^rd to the 25^th of August.
