A truly historical place to visit in Ireland
Siamsa Tíre is focused on the past, present and future of Irish folk culture, encompassing a wide range of performing arts practices – including music, song, dance and theatre. Over its 50 plus year history, the theatre has aimed to preserve and promote Irish culture, share oral traditions and expressions, including the Irish language as both a vehicle and repository of cultural identity; along with folklore, myths, and legends.
