Introducing Caroline Spillane as Auntie Em
Caroline Spillane hails from West Cork and from an early age has developed her love of musical theatre as a hobby under the guidance of Maire Breathnach..
Caroline spent many years performing with Opera Cork, taking on such roles “ Faery Goodmother” in the Cork Opera Christmas pantos, and more recently preforming as Sister Mary Patrick in Tralee Musical Society’s production of Sister act.
Caroline was delighted to participate as Judah in Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat in last year‘s summer musical at Siamsa Tíre and now returns to the stage as Auntie Em in the Wizard of Oz.
Caroline is also a professional musician and whilst most of her days are spent working in a busy HR role, Caroline is delighted and honoured to be part of this wonderful production and would like to dedicate this performance to her husband Daniel Kelly who is also personal assistant to their dog Lola, starring in the role of Toto!
We wish Caroline the very best of luck and look forward to a magical adventure down the Yellow Brick Road with her.
