Welcome to Siamsa Tíre Theatre & Arts Centre.
We are dedicated to ensuring that all our events, workshops and community spaces are inclusive, welcoming and accessible to everyone.
Our mission is to create an environment where every visitor – regardless of ability - with confidence and comfort can enjoy the inspiring arts, cultural experiences, and welcoming hospitality offered by our venue and the Siamsa Tíre team.

Getting Here
Siamsa Tíre is located in the heart of the Tralee Town Park,Eircode V92 XW44.

By Car: The building is easily accessible from the Brandon Car Park where it has Disability Parking at the footpath entrance from the car park to the building, and ample parking available – free after 6pm.
There are a number of local taxi companies available – you can also use Uber and FreeTaxi apps. Dial-a-Taxi Tralee (087 981 8181); Tralee Radio Taxis (066 712 5451); Speedy Cabs (087 263 7038); Oakpark Taxis (087 957 4099); 24/7 Cabs (087 972 1000)

By Bus: Siamsa Tíre is easily accessible by Local Link, Bus Eireann and Expressway buses with bus stops all within a short walking distance ranging from 2-5 minutes. Buses stop at The Square, Denny Street, and Prince's Street (nearest – stops directly outside the car park leading to our venue). Tralee Bus Station is also about a 12 minute walk or short taxi drive to the venue.
By Train: Siamsa Tíre is easily accessible by train with the main train terminus within a 12 minute walk or short taxi drive. Trains connect to Killarney, Cork, Limerick Junction and Dublin with regional stations in between.
By Air: Siamsa Tíre is a 20-30 minute drive from Kerry Airport with flights to Dublin, London, Manchester, Frankfurt Hahn, Faro, Alicante (subject to seasonal scheduling).
By Ferry: If you are travelling from County Limerick or Clare, Siamsa Tíre is within a 50 min drive from Tarbert Ferry.

The Theatre & Arts Centre was custom built over 30 years ago with accessibility for the community it serves in mind.

- Free familiarisation visits available on request
- Wheelchair available for use in the building
* Sensory Hours & Familiarisation Trips– specific family events across the year include dedicated sensory hours– these ensure “quiet times”, during which noise levels are reduced and flashing lights are switched off to meet the needs of people with sensory sensitivities e.g. autistic visitors, are available.
Free familiarisation visits are available - advance request is required. Guests are welcome to arrange a visit ahead of booking or visiting to familiarise themselves and others with the venue at no additional cost. We are developing a virtual tour which will be available on our website soon.

We have a defibrillator on site, beside our bar. Our staff are trained to provide calm and practical assistance in the unlikely event of an emergency.
