Siamsa Tíre is gearing up for another exciting season of creativity, collaboration, and performance with this year’s summer musical production of Grease.  Featuring iconic songs such as ‘Greased Lightnin’,”Hopelessly Devoted To You’, ‘You’re The One That I Want’, ‘Born To Handjive’ and many more,

Grease originally premiered in 1971, created by Jim Jacobs and Warren Casey. Set in 1959, the musical follows a group of teenagers navigating love, identity, peer pressure, and rebellion. Bursting with the sounds of early rock and roll, the show captures a timeless sense of fun, energy, and nostalgia. From friendships and first loves to the challenges of fitting in, Grease continues to resonate with audiences and performers of all ages.

Led by musical theatre professionals, Oliver Hurley as Director, Choreographer Justin Walsh and musical director Sorcha O’Connor, they bring a wealth of experience and creative vision to Grease, combined with the talent and enthusiasm of our local performers to guarantee a vibrant and high-energy theatre experience for all.
