Culture Night 2026 at Siamsa Tíre. A Celebration of Community and Culture
Join us at Siamsa Tire for a special Culture Night dance workshop with renowned choreographer Justin Walsh. This is free event and drop ins are welcome but booking is strongly encouraged as space is limited.
Justin Walsh has a long history with Irish dance having performed with SiamsaTír esince the age of seven to touring the world with Michael Flatley in Riverdance, Lord of the Dance, Celtic Tiger and Feet of Flames. If you have an interest in dance, don’t miss our new adult dance fitness classes Musical Theatre Dance (starting 14th Sept) & Jig Fit Irish Dance (starting 17th Sept). Beginners & Intermediate levels available.

This event is a true celebration of our community’s artistic spirit, where tradition meets innovation. Come and be part of a night filled with uplifting music, inspiring collaboration, and a shared sense of community. Support local artists and witness a performance that promises to touch the hearts of all who attend. Join us for a memorable evening of music and community spirit at Siamsa Tire on Friday 18th of September, as we celebrate this year’s Culture Night
Schedule:
- All Day: Art Exhibition ‘Threading Memories’ by Gráinne Mulligan.
- 4:30pm-8:30pm: Face painting/balloon modelling.
- 5pm, 6pm, 7pm & 8pm: Puppet shows (15mins)
- 5pm – 9pm: Circus acts (main entrance)
- 5pm: Photography workshop with Olga.(45mins) *Booking advised
- 5:30pm, 6:30pm & 7:30pm: Afro beat dancers (30mins)
- 6pm-9pm: Pop-in knitting, stitching & crochet workshops with NEWKD Craft Circle & Grainne Mulligan.
- 6pm & 8pm: Dance & drumming with Kerry Indian Association (20mins). *Booking advised
- 6.30pm & 7.30pm: Literary Lounge open mic (30mins) *Booking advised
- 7pm-7.45pm: Next Stage Theatre performance of ‘The Many Homes In me’. *Booking advised
- 7pm & 8pm: Irish dance workshops with Justin Walsh (20mins) *Booking advised
- Plus live music and lots more!!…
- Tickets: All events are free, some require booking due to limited capacity.
