Home Body

Home Body by Cliodhna Doherty

Home Body was a collection exploring the process of returning to yourself after grief. Developed from life-drawing studies, the work moved away from direct representation and instead captured the emotional weight and movement of the female form.

Looser marks and an earthy palette reflected a deeper internal connection, grounding each piece in memory, presence, and recovery. The collection sits between figure and feeling, offering space for reflection and emotional clarity.

Cliodhna says "This collection is deeply personal and explores the return to self after grief. For years I have painted other women and their stories so this collection is extremely special and vulnerable to me." The exhibition officially opened on Tuesday 24th of March 2026.

Home Body: An Immersive Salon

In addition to the exhibition, guests were invited to attend Home Body: An Immersive Salon on Saturday 11th April. This was not a traditional exhibition visit – but an invitation to step inside the work alongside the artist. Set within a candlelit gallery, the evening unfolded through a curated fusion of live music, performance, and conversation, creating a space to slow down, reflect, and engage more deeply.

Guests were welcomed with wine and light refreshments, accompanied by ambient live music and a dance performance by Ella Sheehy in collaboration with Laura Daly Dance Studio (Kerry Rose 2025).

Entry for all exhibitions is free to enjoy 10am-5:30pm, last entry for exhibitions is 5pm. Hours may change seasonally or during events, please see our Building Opening Hours for latest updates.
