‘Past, Present & Beyond’ by Tralee Art Group

A celebration of 40 years of creativity & self-expression by members of Tralee Art Group which ran from 12th Jan-7th Feb 2023.

The very first Tralee Art Group exhibition was organised with the help of Fr. Pat Aherne in 1980 and was held in the old Siamsa Tire building (formerly the Town Hall) and we were delighted to host the 40th Anniversary exhibition albeit a little later than planned due to Covid-19!

Curated by Tralee artist, Rebekah Wall, and officially opened by Sean Murphy, chairperson of Siamsa Tíre, this inspiring exhibition of unique artwork also contained an audio and visual history of the group, its members and its journey up to today.

Visitors came to enjoy the beautiful, evocative works on display as well as experiencing a trip down memory lane!
