Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat 

Tim Rice and Andrew Lloyd Webber’s multi award-winning show Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat has been performed hundreds of thousands of times including multiple runs in the West End and on Broadway, international tours in over 80 countries worldwide and has become one of the world’s most beloved family musicals.

Featuring much loved pop and musical theatre classics, including Any Dream Will Do, Close Every Door, There’s One More Angel In Heaven and Go, Go, Go Joseph. Don’t miss this summer spectacle full of music, dance, fabulous costumes and of course…that famous coat of many colours!

The talented cast and chorus from across the county are enjoying the rehearsals with award winning director Oliver Hurley, vocal coach and Choral Director for Killarney’s ‘Stronger Together Choir’ Sorcha O’Connor, and professional dancer/teacher Justin Walsh.

Cast Announcement:

  • Joseph1: Dominick Hurley from Tralee (7th-9th Aug) 

Dominick is going into his fourth year of Musical Theatre Studies in the Cork School of Music. Dominick has been performing in Tralee for over 15 years with the likes of Tralee Musical Society and Oliver Hurley’s Stage School, He is extremely excited for this production and he can’t wait for you all to see the casts hard work pay off!! Recent credits include Our House The Musical, 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee and The Addams Family. Dominick says what he’s most looking forward to in the show is working with the other cast members as it’s so much fun. 

  • Joseph 2: David Lynch from Tralee (23rd-25th Aug)

David is 15 years of age and is delighted to be playing the role ofJoseph. This has been a dream role of his as his dad (Mike Lynch) first played the role with Tralee Musical Society (TMS) in 1996. David is no stranger to the stage and the world of music as he has been a member of the Oliver Hurley School of Musical Theatre since the age of 4, and has performed with TMS, Light Opera Society Tralee and can often be seen busking in Tralee. During his time on stage David has played many roles, some of his favourites are – Jeremy Potts (Chitty Chitty Bang Bang), Young Cain (Children of Eden), Auntie Em/The Dame (Wizard of Oz Panto).
