Performances
Cultural activities can include access to programmed evening performances. As Siamsa Tíre is a vibrant hub for the traditional arts you have access to a professional cast of performers trained in the Siamsa Tíre style of Munnix Dance. Our community of traditional Irish dancers, singers, and musicians, bring Irish traditions of music, song, dance, culture, and folklore of old to life in spectacular stage performances and they can provide bespoke welcome receptions, gala dinner performances, demonstrations and tailored performances to a specific location. These need to be booked well in advance to ensure availability of performers and to provide ample time to provide the most spectacular cultural experience for your guests.
Cultural Workshops
Siamsa Tíre was founded 50 years ago to sustain, explore and share our traditional arts and culture and it passes these on to young artists within our community through our Training Academy. It has created generations of traditional artists and performers that perform on the Siamsa Tíre stage and share Kerry’s cultural traditions further afield nationally and internationally.
Our Training Academy teachers can also share these skills and traditions with your attendees/delegates in bespoke traditional arts workshops, teaching them how to Irish dance (our unique Siamsa Tíre style of Munnix Dance), play Irish instruments or learn a song in Gaelic from the repertoire of the National Folk Theatre.
