Youth Theatre

If you are aged 12 – 15 years old and you’re interested in youth theatre, then fill in an expression of interest form and we’ll contact you when we’re opening membership for a new term of our youth theatre. You do not need to have any previous drama experience to join, it’s only important that you have an open mind, are a good team player and want to have some fun. You’re welcome to try out some workshops before deciding to join up for the term.

Youth theatre members take part in weekly youth theatre workshops in Siamsa Tíre led by professional facilitators. Sometimes specialist guest facilitators are invited to deliver workshops in particular disciplines. Participants explore drama devising, improvisation, movement, voice, stagecraft, writing, directing and technical skills, to name but a few. The workshops provide young people with the space to explore their own ideas and world around them through the medium of drama.
