2024 Folk Theatre Academy Auditions
Every year, the National Folk Theatre holds auditions to attract the best of traditional young talent (ages 7-12).
This year we are delighted to announce that our 2024 auditions will take place on the 14th and 15th June and will take place in person as follows:
- Fri 14th June from 5-8pm in Siamsa Tíre Theatre, Tralee.
- Sat 15th June from 10am-12pm in Siamsa Tíre Theatre, Tralee.
These auditions are by appointment only and candidates (aged 7 to 12) would preferably have an Irish dance and a song (in any language) prepared, or if the candidate is also a musician please bring along your own instrument with a prepared tune/piece.
School Auditions
School auditions can also be arranged throughout June so if your school would like to give their students the opportunity to audition for the National Folk Theatre Training Academy, please contact Joanne Barry or Jonathan Kelliher on email: folktheatreacademy@siamsatire.com
