Our local community matters to us at Siamsa Tíre, The National Folk Theatre of Ireland. Covid19 has made it difficult for our communities to connect through culture and live events. That is why we are offering everyone living in Kerry the opportunity to attend our summer Festival of Folk performances at a massively discounted rate of €15 per person – almost 70% off the standard ticket price of €45.

Since Siamsa Tíre was founded over half a century ago, our annual Festival of Folk has been central to how we celebrate and sustain Ireland’s living cultural heritage. The festival offers several Folk Theatre productions, alongside an interactive exhibition, all of which showcase the depth and richness of our traditional music, song, dance, and stories.

Now that we have fully reopened and are once again able to offer a programme of live events, we are looking forward to summer 2023 and our Festival of Folk, when we will welcome our cast back on stage and our community in to experience their exuberant performances.

Twenty local-rate tickets will be reserved for Kerry residents for every single Festival of Folk performance. We recommend early booking because they are so limited. .

If you recently received your Spring 2023 seasonal event guide by post, that means you are already on our customer database. You can simply phone 066 7123055 to book your local-rate tickets.

If you are a new customer, resident in Kerry, simply contact our Box Office and provide proof of your home address in Kerry and we can provide the booking code for your discounted tickets.
