Meet The Musical Director Sorcha O’Connor

In 2018, Sorcha graduated from MTU Cork School of Music, having specialised in vocal study with Rob Craig and choral conducting. Sorcha is a vocal coach and piano teacher with Killarney School of Music, and also teaches singing with the Oliver Hurley Stage School and is a tutor with Music Generation Kerry. Sorcha balances her busy teaching career with an assortment of choral work throughout Kerry, and has recently been appointed Choral Director for Killarney’s ‘Stronger Together Choir’. Sorcha has been working with Killarney Musical Society since 2020, and was the choral director for Tralee Musical Societies production of Sister Act 2024. She is also the choral director with Killorglin Pantomime Group.
